Narmada Ahuja ( born 16 July 1989),briefly known as Narmadaa is an indian actress and a model . Govinda's elder child Narmada is very choosy and contemplative in her career moves. She will make 10 short films before making her eagerly awaited debut as an actress. She is making her debut in a romantic comedy opposite boxer Vijender Singh.Rumour has it that the film will also feature Daddy Govinda and Salman Khan in cameos in order to push the star value of the film. Narmada was first seen accompanying Salman Khan to the IIFA Awards Red Carpet in the year 2007 but later she missed the chance of being paired opposite Salman Khan in Dabangg. Narmmadaa will step into Bollywood with a film that will also introduce boxer Vijender Singh. Director Lovely Singh is already said to be modifying the script to make space for not just Govinda but also Salman, the two stars will have just cameo roles, though Govinda's role could be extended. He might actually play Narmmadaa's father in the yet untitled film. Viraj, her personal trainer has put her on strict schedule of diet and exercise. Early Life and Career
Ahuja was born in India , to an Indian father,Govinda Ahuja and Sunita Ahuja.. Govinda's daughter Narmada Ahuja's Bollywood debut has always been the talk of the town, but nothing materialised. The veteran actor says she is still waiting for the right script to come her way.
"Whenever anything is announced, I will let you know, we should not talk about it now. It is not like she has not been offered any films. In fact, she has refused 20-22 films," the 48-year-old said here Friday at the unveiling of first Bright awards.
"We used to grab any opportunity we got. But she is waiting for what she wants and once she does I will let you know," he added.
Meanwhile, Govinda is happy and satisfied with the respect bestowed on him in the film industry.
"I feel respect is good, be it in the form of awards or rewards. Sometimes you are famous, sometimes you earn more. Whichever way you get it, it is good and to keep getting respect is important. Whatever you get, accept it," Govinda said.
After Salman Khan decided not to launch the career of his good friend’s daughter, director Pahlaj Nihalani is doing it
Film producer Pahlaj Nihalani says he is working to give Govinda‘s daughter Narmada Ahuja aka Narmmadaa a “perfect launch” in Bollywood.
“One thing is for sure… I am definitely going to launch Narmada. She is like family and I would like to give her a proper launch. I am scripting something special for her and I assure it will be the perfect launch for her,” said Nihalani. Talks of her Bollywood debut have been going on since long and now, hopefully, Narmada will scorch the silver screen soon.
Asked what the film will be about, Nihalani said, “It is too early to talk about it. I don’t want to talk about it on record right now, (but) I shall disclose it soon.” Nihalani has earlier produced films like Shola Aur Shabnam, Andaz and Aankhen.
Salman Khan was supposed to have launched Narmada, but he chose to go with Sonakshi Sinha instead in Dabangg.
